Not sure what to say?

Enjoyed my times sailing with him and also visiting him and Kathy at their home. great shipmate!

Rick was so caring to my father who was his Uncle Paul. I know he is terribly missed this holiday.

Captain Knoop mentored me and helped me become his relief. His character and sharp wit left me with many fine memories. He has crossed the bar into the mystic. Condolences to his family.

Rick was an outstanding leader in his mountaintop community. Hard working, competent and trustworthy. He led a fascinating life and was admired by many. Brian Petraitis

Barb-Sorry for the loss of your Brother. Ed

Rick´s keen sense of humor presided over many dinners shared with Kathy and daughters Pam and Lisa. He created a sense of belonging for myself and Kurt particularly during our first years of living at the lake. May those times be remembered by his family as fondly as I do.

Ricky and I were neighbors in Cohoes. We were about 5 or 6 years old. My mother told me that she thought Ricky had a crush on me. Good memories.

Rick was one of a kind. A brilliant mind. A great family man and one heck of a mentor. I'm me because Rick took his time to help me along. He was generous like that What a man! What a loss.

Sorry to learn of Ric´s passing. Enjoyed skiing with him and others from Keveny many years ago. Rest in Peace, Ric.
