Rick and I were among about 6 US Airways pilots who periodically shared a commuter pad in Pittsburgh for a few years. He was a smart man who understood and enjoyed friendship. It has been several years since we last talked. An internet search took me to his obituary a few days ago. I'm sorry we lost touch, Rick. Thanks for the memories. You are and were a class act. You have flown west, but it won't be too long before we'll meet again. RIP, my friend.

Very sad news to discover this today. I was his kiteboarding instructor in Cocoa Beach. I remember out lessons and time on the water vividly. He was one of my favorite students for his positive mindset and dedication. He will surely be missed.
