Not sure what to say?

I went to IIT with Ric (had same graduate advisor) and I just found he is no longer with us and really is saddend. Its been over twenty years since I last talked to him, prior to coming back home and alway wondered where he was and how he lived. He was indeed a person of much caring and had high moral standard. Work hard on what he was doing and really enjoyed having discussions with him. We both received the best paper award for our research at the same conference in 1981 and we were so...

Googled Ric today to find contact info. Had not spoken with him for 1-2 years. Just missed visiting with him and needed to "catch-up". Was absolutley shocked and saddened to instead find this site. Worked with Ric at Boeing Wichita and he was always a true and faithful friend, even after we went different directions in life. There are few genuine people born into this world, and we lost one of these few (but never in memory !!) My deepest sorrow and sympathy to the family - never forget...

Dear Kundrat Family,

Bill and I are so terribly sorry to hear of Ric's passing. He was a classmate of Bill's at IIT, attended our wedding, and remained in contact from time to time over the years. Hearing that he is no longer with us, has saddened both Bill and I. He will be missed.

Deepest Sympathy to Ric's family. He was always a thoughtful guy who loved his family and friends. Ric was really smart and always thinking and analyzing everything, sometimes this kept him from living in the now. The loss of his Mother last year and her disease really took a lot out of him. Alzheimer's disease, dementia and memory loss symptoms, are just challenging diseases and your loved one is not the person who raised you, which is so difficult to rationalize. Prayers to the family...

Thank you to those of you who took the time to sign the guestbook. Your memories of Ric are precious for me to hear about. If you haven't shared a memory yet, please do. Ric's sister Nancy

I will always remember Ric as the smart, loving and kind person that he was to everyone he who crossed his path. I am blessed to have known him. Until we meet again my friend - rest in the loving arms of our Heavenly Father!

Christmas 2002 at the Thomiszer's

We are very sorry about your loss, we will pray for all of you, we have great memories of visits with Ric and your mother Theresa

My sympathies to the entire Kundrat family, very hard to believe. Rick was someone who really cared about people and loved his friends and family so very much. Very Sad

The light in the world is a little dimmer today as I learned about Ric's passing. A truly amazing, kind, generous and wonderful person, some of my fondest memories of my time in Chicago are with Ric. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family.
