He was a long time Friend from years ago. I introduced him to his wife Dawn. We lost contact and I was looking to get back in touch and found this. So sad what a great guy.

Dick's sudden passing was a huge shock and he will surely be missed. Started my career at S&P and quickly connected with Dick and another municipal analyst Bob Whiteford. A real cast of characters. Dick was a very talented analyst and never shy to share his thoughts. So sorry to hear of his passing. Know how much Dick loved Dawn and his family. Wishing Dick a cold beer and a warm smile.

Dick was an unique municipal securities industry colleague and business friend. His kindness, generosity, and honestly made him so special to me and to so many other people. His analysis was among the best in the industry and always unbiased & on point. An analyst's analyst, he will be very much missed by his many friends in the muni bond business.

Shocked to hear of this news. Dick and I worked together
at S&P for his full time there and we shared challenging credits.
He often publicly gave me credit for mentoring him along the
way. He was one of my favorite people in the industry and he will be missed.

Dawn, Samantha, Meredith and Grant, Deepest sympathy for your loss. I think everyone that knew Dick loved him. He could always make you laugh and had a heart of gold. You are an amazing family and my heart hurts for you right now.

Dick was my mentor, friend, colleague, and always had my back both at S&P in New York and here in Boca Raton. I have met few people who have had the strength of character and belief in his fellow man as Dick did. Always there to provide support, he was the finest municipal bond analyst I have ever met. Thanks Dick for all that you have given me. I only wish you had more time for me to return the favor. To Dawn and Dick's kids, you were lucky to have Dick in your lives for the time you did. Always remember him and follow in his footsteps.
