SAN ANTONIO, Texas
Richard C. Lomas, age 74, went to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on October 11, 2022. A graduate of Fox Tech High School, Richard served in Vietnam in the 173rd Airborne Division. He was an extremely hard worker in the sheet metal fabrication industry for over 40 years and tackled every job assignment with such excitement and zeal. He enjoyed traveling, scuba diving, fishing, and gardening. He would spend hours each day working in his garden.
Richard was preceded in death by his mother, Amparo C. Lomas, sisters: Olga Ricondo and Gloria Kleiman. Richard is survived by his wife, Priscilla Lomas of 50 years; son, Aaron Lomas (Rose); brothers: Jesse Cardosa, Paul Lomas (Grace), Gilbert Lomas (Bertha); sisters, JoAnn Sanchez (Antonio); RosaLinda Mendoza (Robert); and numerous nieces and nephews. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
We would like to thank the staff of the University Hospital and the Mays Cancer Center at MD Anderson in San Antonio for their care and support.
