Richard Lomas Obituary

Richard C. Lomas, age 74, went to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on October 11, 2022. A graduate of Fox Tech High School, Richard served in Vietnam in the 173rd Airborne Division. He was a mechanic in the sheet metal fabrication industry for over 40 years. He enjoyed scuba diving, fishing, and gardening. He would spend hours each day working in his garden.

Richard was preceded in death by his mother, Amparo C. Lomas, sisters: Olga Ricondo and Gloria Kleiman. Richard is survived by his wife, Priscilla Lomas of 50 years; son, Aaron Lomas (Rose); brothers: Jesse Cardosa, Paul Lomas (Grace), Gilbert Lomas (Bertha); sisters, JoAnn Sanchez (Antonio); RosaLinda Mendoza (Robert); numerous nieces and nephews. He will be missed by his family and friends.

A Prayer Service will be held Tuesday, October 18 at 7:00pm in The Angelus Chapel. Funeral Service will be held Wednesday, October 19 at 12:30pm in The Angelus Chapel. Interment will follow at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, we request donations be made to the University Health Foundation or the Mays Cancer Center at MD Anderson in San Antonio to thank them for the care given to Richard.
