Richard Rudy Lopez

I'm really going to miss Rich. He was a good bar buddy and a great friend. Always so upbeat and warm and welcoming. He would make sure your favorite song was playing on the jukebox right when you walked into the bar (Fleetwood, Pink Floyd, Erasure, 90s Synth pop, everything you enjoyed together), and always make sure there was a free seat next to him to relax and settle into a good conversation. I'm fortunate to have known him and cherish the memories at Stonewall, Pint, Gym and Lucky...

I had the pleasure of meeting Rich at a "White Party" at the "Gilded lily" in Manhattan in 2018 and we hit it off...We had a love for music, especially Disco and dancing...We then kept in touch and went to "Pride NYC" and hung out all day and night, followed by going to see new production of "West Side Story" in 2020 just before pandemic...He was an intelligent, knowledgeable and fun person to be with...Partners in crime, so to speak...Great all around guy...I´m saddened and my deepest...
