I would like to express my sincere condolences to the Manning family on their loss. I first met Rich through Richard Paulson who was my wood-shop teacher, friend and mentor at Mt. Lebanon.
Rich Manning was a fine man and teacher and will be missed by everyone who knew him.

Rick was a character with a rage to live life, but to do that in a moral context. He was a genius with mechanical things. I've been friends with him since elementary school. Two experiences I remember and will share are--- working with him at the South Park dairy queen during high school and then tearing out at closing time in his old Ford falcon with Steppenwolf's born to be wild at max volume.
