Richard A. Markowiak

Rich touched so many lives with his kind and gentle spirit. It was an honor to know him and work with him at Northwestern. My deepest sympathy to his lovely family. He lives in our hearts ... may our memory of him be eternal.

What an enormous loss! As the days pass, I hope the loving support of family and friends helps ease the hurt. Michael, you are such an interesting and talented young man. Your dad's gifts to you are many. My thoughts are with you, your mom and brother.

I am so sorry to learn of Rich's passing. He was a wonderful person, pleasant to run into, pleasant to work with when I was in the same department years ago. He left quite a positive legacy at Northwestern Mutual - so many appreciate how nice and helpful he was to all.
