I went to High School with Sharon Cox Martin here in Houston. We have remained friends forever. I met Richard when I had gone to visit Sharon in Lubbock and we all became very good friends. I am the reason why thy got married, rather funny story. They were the perfect couple, just made for each other. Richard was her champion, best friend and husband. He was an excellent husband, father and grandfather. Very proud of his family. He will be sorely missed, but he lives in our hearts. ...

Thank you for all of the love and support our family has received during our time of loss. My father was such a great man and an inspiration to all those he met. He will be dearly missed in person but will always be with us in spirit.
