Not sure what to say?

I was very sorry to hear of Richard's passing. He was a good man. He was a man of deep faith and genuinely cared about other people. During a stressful point in my life, he and other members of a men's prayer group prayed for me and that meant a great deal. I was unable to attend the funeral, but I wanted to express my deepest condolences to Richard's family. May your memories of him give you comfort in this time.

Winkie and family- I am so sorry for your loss. I absolutely loved working with Mr. Martin- he was one of my favorites. My continued thoughts and prayers to all of you during this time. Rest in Peace Mr. Martin. Hunter Edwards Glen Allen High

PTA President - Easiest job in the PTA was one of my first workshops when I started PTA in 1988 and Roanoke 1989 was my first convention. Richard was a treasure to those of us who had the blessing to know him. PS did not learn to be a good delegator - I needed to take his workshop more often. As your family gathers may many stories bring you joy and laughter.

May the love of friends and family carry you through your grief.

I was shocked to hear of Richard´s passing. He was such a bright light in PTA for so many years, I guess I thought he would be with us forever! He was state president when I first started participating on the state level. He was a wonderful friend and mentor . My heart goes out to his entire family. God´s blessings to you all.

Memories of time spent with Richard at PTA functions will be forever. He will be missed by so very many. Margaret McRoberts Sutliff
