To the Merrick famly, Sorryto here of your loss. I myself know wht it is liketo lose a love one who is very close to you . When I think of Dick I can here his laughter always the jokester. Telling jokes whenever I saw him. He was a goodfriend to my father, whom I lost three years ago now . I thinkyur children will remember him from Dougherty 's dances. I was so saddened to hear about your great loss. The years just flew by so quickly. He was such a wonderful husband and father and such a good friend to all who knew him. He sure kept everyone laughing over the years. I have such fond memories of him while growing up. I always felt like part of your family whenever I was at your home (which was quite often -- ha ha.) I'll never forget the first time I met Mr. Merrick. Carolyn and I had just started dating and she took me to Terry and Bob's engagement party. I was a little apprehensive about going because I figured I would hardly know anyone.

To The Merrick Family, having just recently buried my mother-in -law after a long struggle with breast cancer my prayers go out to all of you and the Grandchildren. Mr. Merrick was always involved with his children Thru their years at St, Williams and even more so as a band parent at Cardinal Doudherty High School.
