Dear Montie and family, I am sorry for your loss. I would have enjoyed meeting him. I am sure we´ve hiked some of the same trails in the Sierras. They must have been a taste of heaven that was to come.

Sending well wishes to the entire Meyer family from The Planks and Lyonses. Having recently lost the patriarch of our family, I sadly know what a tough time you are going thru. Time heals all wounds and it does get easier. I know this is a huge loss and we are sending our well wishes your way.

Rich was one of a kind. I was fortunate to spend time with him at the RC Post Office each morning. He was a wealth of knowledge on a multitude of topics, his favorite being his family. Seneca Rocks WV came highly recommended for my young family which opened the door of his many adventures. The joy of Rich entering my world impacted my life in a very positive way. He is one of the good guys.

So sad to see about Rich passing. I worked with him for many years at the RC post office. He actually got my route after I had bid off it. In the last month I was in contact with his daughter on linkedin.com to have her get him in touch with me. I always enjoyed discussing current events with him. He was very proud of the accomplishments of his children. God Bless his family.

Mary , so sorry to hear about Rich. Sending love, thoughts and prayers to you and your family. His shining and caring personality will remain a memory in my heart. I will miss him hiking, but look forward to seeing him again in heaven.

We are so sorry Mary, siblings, and children. It was such a shock. He will be welcomed into the arms of Jesus. May you be comforted that there is the after life, and he will be with Uncle John and Aunt Jen. What a homecoming that will be
