Please accept my sincere condolences on Richard´s passing. I knew him as the Assistant Watch Officer of Slocum Watch at Hurricane Island Outward Bound School in 1969. I had just flunked out of college and was about to enter the Navy and decided to give Outward Bound a try before I left for active duty.
