Not sure what to say?

I would associate him as friend, but from the time i was a youngster to the time where i'm in my mid twenties i still consider Rich family, This is extremely late to add condolences or memories.

He will be missed, not just by those who have lived in this town of portsmouth but by people in the neighboring towns aswell. The joy he brought to people isn't something that's easily replicated, He was unique in that aspect. I will miss hearing his stories and the passing greetings...

Rich will be missed in P-Town, his special ways. He always spoke to me and called me by name. He would always asked about colleagues I worked with. May Father bless his Family.

Richard was a very dear friend to all of us at Kroger’s , I worked at Starbucks, and Richard would come in and get his Coffee every day . Sometimes people would pay for his coffee. People would come in and leave money for Richard or give us a Starbucks card for him . I believe that Richard had more friends than any one of us in Portsmouth. I Loved to listen to him play the Piano . He was Brilliant, never missed a note . And anytime that he would see me , he would always say Hello Linda ,...

Will be greatly missed by all. loved hearing him play. Always a delight. Rest in peace moonie

I knew who Rich was in my early years but really didn't "know" him till many years later. I sat with him many times at Bdubs to share a beer and the myriad stories Rich had to tell. He was always a delight. His walk was unmistakable and he will certainly be missed.

Thinking of you Peggy and Pam!

My condolences to you Pam & Peggy. I am so sorry to hear about Rich and I know he will be missed by many people. I remember all the good time we had growing up on 28th street and I cherish every memory.

Sure will miss seeing you around town....memories of you at the OU Portsmouth Branch many years ago.
