Not sure what to say?

You were a good friend and advisor to me. You helped me when I was on the road. You helped me when I had issues with gear a long way from my home base. You supported and contributed to my music, my writing,...... and you were my friend. I will miss you. Til' we meet again, Brother!

I miss you Rich but, when I want to see you, I just put on my album on which you collaborated and contributed so much. RIP brother.

We had the opportunity to work with Rich on a music project and we will be forever grateful. The Uneasy Messengers

I heard the news today, about a lucky man who made the grade. I'd love to turn on your cd if I could find it on line. see you in the next world , I won't be too late!

Richard was a true friend, a great musician and wonderful human being. I will always remember cruzin' main street in his green Mustang 2+2 in Guymon back in the day. The numerous bands we played in together, including the Beaver Express. What wonderful memories! Saw him in Oceanside with Poco while he was touring with them. More recently on a road trip to the Grand Canyon a few years ago I visited with him at his music store in Flagstaff. Thanks Richard for being a great friend and may...

After the death of Rusty Young of Poco, I talked to Richard about his time in Poco and I also remember him playing in Tulsa with Mark Bruner and Bluestreak in the 80s. A great player, a nice guy and RIP my brother. I´ll see you in the other side. Matt Kohl

Rich was such a true mensch. I learned so much from playing with him, hanging out, talking, laughing, listening. He was truly one-of-a-kind; a beautiful musician and incredible soul. I will miss you.--Rob Wallace

Richard, you are going to be sadly missed. I'll never forget our days together with The Beaver Express. Seem like you were always positive and optimistic & a great human being...not to mention a fantastic musician & Bass player. I'll always remember you

Richard, I was floored by the news of your passing. I could never say the words to say how I felt about you as a long time friend. The memories I had playing music with you in The Beaver Express are very vivid. You were the warm, positive human being everyone says you were. You were a fantastic musician & Bass player. Play on, Brother, "C" ya in heaven. Malcolm Sanders
