I have only recently learned of Dick´s passing, all to my profound sorrow. I have met Dick when I was in law school when through a recommendation by another lawyer Dick invited me to join his office on Commercial Street in Worcester as a law clerk to learn what is it about to be a lawyer, so to speak or so I thought. Dear family of Dick Pentland, I knew your dad because my late husband, John McDevitt and Dick were classmates at Holy cross and roomed together at BC law. I wondered why I hadn´t heard from Dick and did a google search. Your father was a loyal friend to my late husband. I want you to know, although belatedly, of my sorrow for your loss. Sorry to hear of Dick´s passing. He was surely well known in Worcester. This is a wonderful picture of Dick with an impressive account of his many contributions to the organizations that mattered to him. I was sorry to learn of Dick's passing. He was a great mentor during my early years of practice and was an outstanding example of what it means to be a zealous advocate for clients. My prayers are with the Pentland family.

My sympathy to the Pentland family as I remember Dick who was a distinguished member of the Bar and a genuine gentleman. May he rest in peace.

He was my attorney when I bought my house and remained a good friend throughout my working career in the city of Worcester- a very pleasant gentleman- a pleasant smile and always nice to me when I met him on the street. My prayers to the entire family
