Not sure what to say?

A terrific teacher who kept his students interested in learning.

Mr. Powell was not only my teacher, but a friend. My friend and I stayed at his hotel in Wildwood. I remember when we first arrived we where not happy with our room and we demanded to see him and we where told that he was on the beach. When we saw him we couldn't stay mad when he hugged us and smiled and called us his favorite girls. Also when we went out that nite and my friend left me at the bar with a guy who walked me home, who did I find standing outside waiting and looking like an upset...

Lucille, just found this on the internet. We were discussing Dick as a favorite teacher at NHS. Have fond memories of you in Wildwood. Sorry for your loss. Love to you. Bill and Cindy Tidwell.

I first met Dick Powell whilke coaching basketball at Boyertown High School. We became good friends and later coached against each other while he was at Spting-Ford. We always enjoyed talking and I found him refreshing, informative, entertaining and colorful. And a real good guy.

Dear wife & daughters, Miss you all, Love Alane Greiner-Knudson

Ran into him last year at staples even though he probably didn't remember me from SF class 89 he acted as though he did he looked exactly like I remembered

My sympathies to the Powell Family. I had Mr. Powell as a History teacher at Spring-Ford High School. He was a really nice man and a great teacher.

I remember Mr. Powell quite well. He was my teacher, back in the 80s. He was a wonderful and motivated teacher. He surely enjoyed his career. My heart goes out to his family at this difficult time. Mr. Powell will never be forgotten. God Bless.

He was my Dad, Jack Babel's friend. I remember meeting him when I was a teenager, really nice man. Played a great game of tennis with us. Sorry for your loss.
