Not sure what to say?

Joanie and family,

We are deeply saddened to learn of Dicks passing. He was a very good friend and will be sorely missed.
I was starting college and didnt know a soul in St. Paul when our family moved to St Marks parish from Sleepy Eye. Joanie & family -

Dick was indeed one of a kind. His conversational enthusiasm and knack for staying up to the moment on all the local sports and St Mark's and Cretin alumnae scenes was remarkable. Many memories from years of ABA Tournaments and poker parties too. Unable to make the memorial service ... I'm certain I missed many other good stories. RIP Dick.

Mr. Powers was always kind, friendly and offered a smile to me at Highland Little League many years ago. My heart felt condolences to the Powers family and friends.

Very sorry to see this. Another of the old time St. Mark's crew. Dick was one of the biggest sports enthusiast around. Very well connected. Always had the latest scoop. I always enjoyed talking to him. He will be missed. RIP my friend.
