A teacher a friend and a mentor at church God bless you and your family

My parents moved to Wasco at about the same time that the Redings moved to Wasco. My Dad taught at Thomas Jefferson Junior High/Middle School with Mr. Reding for most of that same 35-year time span that he taught there. We also lived in the same neighborhood and Mr. Reding was my P.E. teacher when I attended Thomas Jefferson. Needless to say, I can remember hearing the name "Dick Reding" as far back in my life as I can remember anything. Mrs. Reding, Kim, and Keith, please accept our...

I met Richard Reding at Kern River Transitional Care. He was my dad´s roommate. I enjoyed hearing his memories. Richard had a great personality. He will truly be missed. Condolences to the Reding family.

Sincere condolences to the whole Reding family. I first met Richard in 1977. My brother-in-law, John, Richard´s brother, took me to Wasco to learn how to Dove hunt. It was a great trip. Richards father Dick (the original Pops!) John and Keith and I hunted all over Wasco, it was a memorable trip, my first of many experiences with this great man, and great family. For many years, our families would spend time crabbing in Bodega Bay. In 2010, Richard, John, my 2 boys and I arrived early...

In loving memory of Coach Richard Reding, fondly known as Pops. He was my basketball coach during my high school days at McFarland High. As the guiding force behind the Lady Cougars, he left an indelible mark on my life. Pops instilled discipline and determination with every sprint and drill. I wanted to be just like him and would ask for his advice in my coaching days. I am so glad I got to visit with him in the last months of his life. He loved anything chocolate and still remembered many...

My sincere condolences for your loss.
