Not sure what to say?

Dick was one of my very good friends at Cornell. Sorry that he is gone.

Six Mile Creek with my parents (Dick and Betsy!), jan. 2013

I never knew Dick, but I do know Bryan and George. After reading his obituary I am sorry to have never met this remarkable man who sounds very similar to my mother in his interests. My condolences to the family and to all his friends, colleagues, and students.

It was a pleasure to help care for Richard while he was with us at Beechtree. I will always remember his wonderful smile. Rest in peace!

Thank you for allowing us to care for Dick this past year. May the souls of the faithful departed rest in.peace.

Dick was a wonderful neighbor on Besemer Road. We had many stimulating conversations there.

Took Dick's Insect Ecology class ca 1985 and it was great. Great teacher and idea person. Also very personable.

Dick was just a wonderful person and a fabulous ecologist. I will miss him.

Thinking of you and your family during this time. So sorry for your loss.
With love,

I will always remember Dick as a wonderful teacher and friend. We were so lucky to have known him.
