Richard Robert Root

Richard Root was my father's younger brother. It is hard for me to believe it, but he was the last surviving guest from my mother and father's wedding in 1955. He and my father Tommy Root, Jr., along with their father Tommy Root, Sr., worked as private Thoroughbred Racehorse trainers for Harry Mangurian starting in the 1970's, and they formed an outstanding team.
