Not sure what to say?

Pop...It never gets easier. Life without you has been tough to say the least but the love you gave me, the lessons you taught me and the strength you showed me...help me move on a bit more every day. I miss ya but I carry you in my heart always so a part of you lives on in me. Rock the heavens, Pop. I'll handle things down here. Till we meet again...love and miss you more than words can say. Always in my heart. Forever....Ricky

I met Max when I joined the EWSC in 1999. Right away, he called me friend. He was a gentle man to talk to, and he will always be a part of my life. Rest in Peace.

Max was a friend and mentor to many in the shooting sports. Over the years Max and Ginney were gracious hosts for the many memorable Hartford Rifle Club celebrations. Besides being the club grill master, Max was a humorous storyteller and brought good cheer wherever he would go. In addition, he was the defacto club historian for the Hartford Schutzen Verein established in 1864. He will be sorely missed by all.

Cousins Ricky & wife, Lynda Rose Baio: we send our deepest sympathy to you at the loss of your father/father-in-law. We know how you both lovingly cared for Mr. Scheller during his illnesses. May he Rest In Peace with God and the angels. Again, we are so sorry for your loss.

Max was a kind a gentle man with a huge heart. He and my husband, Pat, were friends when they were in their early twenties and then as time passed they did not see too much of each. They rekindled their friendship several years and we have found Max to be a caring and faithful friend these past few years. He will be missed but not forgotten. My prayers are with you, Ginny, and with Max' sons.
