Richard "Dick" Seomin

So sad to hear that Dick has passed away. He was a great guy and a good neighbor to Kathy, Chad, Casey, & myself. Lots of memories of both Dick and Ginny. With heart felt condolences. Gary Lowe & Family (Ohio)

Kept me in check. Was jus an all around good guy that took no grief! Will be missed by many.

He was truly a role model at Anderson High School. I had no idea he had retired to Phoenix- would have loved to have visited. My condolences to Scott and Denise and Mrs. Seomin.

Coach Seomin had a very positive influence on my life. He encouraged me to be a leader and set positive examples for others.

Mr. Seomin encouraged me to be more than "just" what my parents expected (housewife, mom) and helped me see a vision that had not been presented to me at home. It is said a teacher changes lives . . . a guidance counselor changed mine.

I heard of the legend of Dick Seomin long before I met the man. Having worked along side his talented daughter Denise while we were both at FOX Sports. She had shared many family stories about Dick, Jenny and family. I learned about the athlete, and scholar/teacher/coach but mostly about how he touched her life as "dad". You are loved and missed for sure Dick. May all your "Hail Mary's" result in a win and "a moment of silence"!
