Not sure what to say?

I was stunned and deeply saddened to learn about the sudden passing of my friend and colleague Richard Sheridan. Richard was a kind and gentle man and a passionate advocate for his students, the Landscape Architecture Program, and URI. I recently met with him at his request to brainstorm about the future of the LA program. I will miss his gentle soul and sense of humor. My deepest condolences to his family, colleagues, and friends.

Had the good fortune to be Richard´s neighbor for five years, we shared choirs on weekends which included weeding, dump trips, cutting trees down. We shared our past experiences and a lot of laughs, we had a great relationship. He will be missed tremendously by all his family and friends, he was a unique and priceless person.

I just found out today that a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, and friend has passed away. It was so sad to hear about Richard. I worked at URI and Richard and I sometimes wound run into each other when I was working in the The Learning Landscape gardens. We would chat and have a laugh or two. He would always talk about Piper and his family. My Sincere Condolences to his loving family.

Condolences to Richard´s family and friends. We send love and hugs to Richard´s brothers and sisters - a beautiful family who sadly lost their sibling. I´m sure Helen and Joe will be there to greet their beloved Son. In our hearts, the Poirier, Kleinicke and Lipoma family

Such an incredibly dear and special person. This loss is immense. My heart and sorrow go out to Richard's family and friends.

My heartfelt condolences to Richard´s family. A life well lived, and a man well loved will be long remembered. Glenda Kovaliv
