Not sure what to say?

Miss you warm smile and your warm heart. Gerri is still Gerri and missing you everyday. I think of you often. You are in a better place, HEAVEN!

Sharing a single memory about Dick Simmin is impossible as I am fortunate to have almost 63 years of priceless unforgettable memories. My Uncle Dick and Aunt Jeanne were best friends of my parents, Walt and Dolores Jackson, and from the day I was born I was blessed with favorite aunt/uncle/cousin. There were shared homes for Sat. night pinochle games, family b-day and holiday gatherings and gift exchanges, and vacations to Lake Wallenpaupack and Ocean City, NJ. It's no secret Uncle Dick was...

To The Shimmin Family,

Richard is found healing in Heaven and the Angels rejoice.

Richard not only had "laughter" but all of the Fruits of the Spirit. "Love, Joy, Peace, Patience, Kindness, Goodness, Faithfulness, Gentleness and Self-Control.

I am honored to have been a small part in your life.

Psalm 23

In Christ,

To The Shimmin Family,

Richard found healing in Heaven. The Angels rejoice.

Richard had the fruits of the Spirit which are Love, Joy, Peace, Patience, Kindness, Goodness, Faithfulness, Gentleness and Self-Control. I am humbled to be just a small part in his life.

I leave the family with this comfort:

"The end of the matter; all has been heard. Fear God, and keep his commandments; for that is the whole duty of everyone." Ecclesiastes 12:13

Rest in Peace...

Gerri. Our deepest sympathy for the loss of Richard. I know he will be missed by all who knew him. God's blessings for your comfort during this time.

Gerri, I'm so sorry to hear about Richard's passing. He was a amazing man, husband, singer and jokester. I always enjoyed meeting up with him cuz he always had a new joke to tell. He will be greatly missed by you and many many others...Prayers for you

Very sorry to lose my "fun uncle." The last time I saw him was at Bill's funeral & he seemed in good health & spirits then. I'd hoped to see him again, but that's a good way to remember him.

What a loss! Dick was among the most talented and honorable bosses I've ever had the privilege to know. Dan McMenamin

Gerri...so sorry to hear of Dick's passing. The last of my mother's siblings. I like to think they were all waiting for him...with his father Ernie, brother Fred and bother Bill on the pianos and my mother Margaret on the organ his sister Winnie and Mother Florence looking on! Hope you are safe and healthy in these difficult times. Brother David has my contact information. I am in Florida now.
