Dick ( I always asked him why he went by Dick and not Rick, Ricky or Richard) was my best friend at UMASs and I still miss him terribly. We had lots of laughs, stress and work issues but we worked them out at the various Dorchester/Quincy pubs and developed a mutual bond that was special. Life is often so unfair. Dick was a great man and far too young and full of life to have been taken so soon. He lives on in the memories we all share and we all are belessed to have known him. He will be missed. Ginny, Scott and Anna, you are not alone and we share your grief. At least he his through with his suffering and hopefully in a better place where we all assuredly shall end up. Love and hugs to all who knew him and grive with me.

ginny, it was with shock that I saw the posting on FB about "Rip" as we know him. Roger and I always remember the fun the four of us had together and the apt. they shared in Brockton. I always remember his great smile. So very, very sorry. And I am more sorry that we didn't ever get to see you both after we moved to PA. Sending you long distance hugs.
