Not sure what to say?

My brother, Ken Stowers, called to let me know our Uncle Dick had passed away. He is our birth father, Jim Stowers, brother. So happy I was able to spend a week with him and Raymetta in Feb 13. I have carried Uncle Dicks Stowers Funeral Home business card in my wallet since he came up to my brother, Bobs funeral in Aug 77! I'm glad he was honored by having the Stowers Elementary School named after him and I got to tour it during my visit. Since returning home, I enjoyed going to see his 1924...

Our deepest sympathy to Raymetta and the family. I will miss his warm hugs and bright smile as he welcomed us at church. Praising his wonderful life and heavenly homecoming.

My deepest sympathy to the Stowers family. May you keep in mind the hope of everlasting life which can help sustain you through this difficult time. John 17:3

Dick, you were there for my family, there for my parents when they lost my brother, and my Mom had many warm memories of your high school days. Thank you for coming and carting my brother to Tampa General when he fell out of a tree and Brandon didn't have an ambulance...the good old days. You will be missed.

I mourn with his family, close friends and associates the loss of a hometown hero. I remember how much he helped at Brandon High- student projects, the Brandon High Band, sports, and the list goes on and on.....farewell, Sir!

I WILL REMEMBER DICK AS A KIND AND GENTLE MAN WHO LOVED HIS FAMILY AND SERVED HIS COMMUNITY WITH HONOR AND DISTINCTION.

HE WAS GENEROUS BEYOND MEASURE AND A TRUSTED
FRIEND. MY LOVE TO RAYMETTA AND FAMILY DURING THIS DIFFICULT TIME.
