It is with sincere condolences that we have read of Dick's passing. May he rest in peace.

Dick Swan. Smart, funny, active...very active :) was happy to see you again, great smile, great handshake, good stories of past and present. Owner of many cars and a few trucks. Loved a deal, respected and admired his children's accomplishments. After my dad passed I called him my pop from another brother. He's doing it all again, just in a different place. So sorry to hear of Mr. Swan´s passing. I always enjoyed talking with him at Rick´s house. He was an awesome person and will be missed by everyone who was lucky enough to have known him! RIP sir!

To the family, my deepest condolences on Dick´s passing. We met several years ago and we spoke but I did not know he was a funeral Director & in passing I spoke to him about a loved one who fell on hard times and was buried in a potters field in Hamden Connecticut (without our family, knowing anything about his passing or his burial) Dick pulled some strings and went above and beyond anything imaginable, and he was able to oversee my relatives re-interment in another cemetery in the New Haven...
