Rich and I were volunteer instructors in the State of Connecticut's Aquatic Resources Education program for 25 years. He was a wonderful person who was always willing to share his fishing knowledge. I know that he had a positive impact on hundreds of people over the years. He always worked with the small group of us in our area of Vernon, Tolland, and surrounding towns to provide fishing education to residents.
