Not sure what to say?

Mrs. Thompson and family I am deeply sorry for your loss. I hope you find comfort in all your wonderful memories. You and Mr. Thompson were always a bright spot in my day.

Richard affectionately referred to as Dick, was a dedicated educator, a caring person and a devoted and proud husband of his lovely wife Betty. My heart goes out to Betty and family. I hope you will be comforted knowing that your loved one left the world a better place than he found it. I'm so sorry for your loss and hope the days will be a bit easier as time passes. I was an education consultant at Bielefeld School while Mr. Thompson was the principal.

My condolences to the family. Richard Thompson was a great friend and exceptional leader in the field of education. We became good friends many years ago and he always had a profound sense of purpose.

Mr. Thompson was a wonderful person. I got to know him personally when I worked at the Board of Education. We would always have a laugh about him being a brother of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity and me an Omega Sweetheart.
Mr. Thompson always had an encouraging word to say to me. I will miss running into him in the bookstore.
