Not sure what to say?

I was privileged to work with Dick for about 25 years. In fact, I hired Dick as a Senior Technician in the Audio Visual - Communications Services. I was privileged to hire several technicians in my 43 years at Cal Poly, but Dick Tibbets was the best man of them all. His skills and ability to build the technical networks and my ability to get funds so we could build the first internet service of all the 19 campuses in the CSU System. My dear Lynette and the Tibbetts family, On behalf of the Clamagore Veterans Association, please accept our deepest sympathy and the loss of your loved one, and our beloved shipmate, Dick. We know that the Great Skipper has taken him on Eternal Patrol where sea stories will be the entertainment for ages to come. I extend my personal condolences as well and will offer a mass for respose of Dick's Soul. Most sincerely, Fr. Aaron Peters, O.S.B., CVA Chaplain.

Lynette - You have my deepest sympathy. Dick was such a genuine person as well as a peach of a guy. I have such fond memories of him when we all worked in AV (you, Jim Shubin, Dean Crawford, Joe Codispoti - to name a few). AV was my first job at Cal Poly, and Dick made me feel so welcome. We all had many fun times together, and I think we got in trouble a few times! He was loved by many, but most of all by you. You are in my thoughts and prayers.

Lynnette, I learned of Dick's passing today reading the Cal Poly Report. Please accept my deepest sympathy for your loss. If you need anything, you don't have far to go to find a friendly ear, arms ready to hug you, or just someone to sit and chat with.

Lynette~ May it help to know that others care and are thinking of you. We always enjoyed working with Dick at Cal Poly. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.

Lynette,

So sorry for your loss and you are in my thoughts and prayers.
