Richard Tomlin Obituary

RAGLAND - Funeral services for Richard Naily Tomlin, 57, will be 11 a.m. Saturday, July 3 at Kilgroe Chapel with interment at Hardins Chapel Cemetery. Mr. Tomlin died June 30, 2010. He was preceded in death by his father, William T. Tomlin; and grandparents, Cape Julius and Annie Lou Wilson and Naily T. and Louella Tomlin. He served in the U.S. Army in Germany and retired from National Cement Company in Ragland with 30 years of service. Survivors are his mother, Frances C. Tomlin; brother, William T. (Judy) Tomlin Jr.; sisters, Janice L. (Bob) Wheeler and Julia M. (Jimmy) Brown; several nieces and nephews; and special friend, Edith Richie. Visitation is 5 to 8 p.m. Friday, July 2 at Kilgroe Funeral Home. Pallbearers are Bob Wheeler, Johnny Calvin, James "Bubba" Brown, Cabot Canas, Nathan McDonald, and Michael Tomlin. Condolences may be offered at www.kilgroefh.com Kilgroe Funeral Home - Pell City will direct the services.
