Not sure what to say?

Sorry to read of Dick's passing. I too learned from this good man. He helped me the first time I flew my own model plane at Salem. I worked with Dick at EB in the early 80's where his words of wisdom taught me something valuable when he said "they aren't going to pin any medals on you here for saving weight". While that's contrary to building model airplanes it's so true in the submarine business. Rest in peace.

So sorry for your loss Marilyn. I enjoyed coming over your house, and building a banner to tow with my plane. Dick taught me the ins and outs of towing with a model plane, and an experience I will never forget. Rest in peace Dick.

My most sincere condolences to you and your family Marilyn. A real pleasure to have known this man all these years as a fellow modeler, mentor, and an all around great guy. Always a wonderful time we had float flying at your place with both you and him as most gracious hosts. Fair skies & gentle breezes Dick. R.I.P.

my preyers go out to you and all your family.Dick was a good friend and and even better teacher, hes with angels now and with old friends like my dad,,

I am so sorry to hear of Mr. Wilkins passing, he was a great inspiration to the radio control airplane flyers where I met him many years ago.

Dear Marilyn, my deepest sympathy to you. Dick was just such a splendid man.
love, Sheila
