Will was a great mentor and friend. He will be missed. My thoughts and prayers are with the family in this time of sorrow.

My sister,Dee, and Willie's sister, Judy, met in high school. I only met him once or twice myself but Dee spoke fondly of him. Condolences to his family and friends. RIP. Charmaine and Melvin Klemkowski,

Today, I learned that I lost a a long time friend. Willie, may your memory be of a blessing to all that knew you. I will miss our intense discussions and jokes. You were an inspiration and an example of excellence to follow. Rest in peace, my friend... Ethan Halpern

Willie was the best leader Weights and Measures had during my career. He made sure we were the best trained field staff possible.

Sending my sincerest sympathy to the Wotthlie family. I was so shocked to get this sad news. My husband, Gene, worked with Will at the Maryland Department of Agriculture, Weights and Measures Section for many years. It always amazed me how close these guys were. They were like brothers to one another. Even after retirement they always made it a point to keep in touch by phone. Will even drove from Mt. Airy to Salisbury for my mother´s funeral back in 2008 out of respect for Gene and me....

So very sorry for your loss. He was such a good man and co-worker. He truly cared for others.
