Not sure what to say?

What a wonderful opportunity, so heart warming to read all of the loving and touching sentiments from eight years ago! He was so loved then and still is... for his fun loving, gentle and kind nature. He will always be close in my heart and thoughts as I remember this special man, my Uncle. Praying Karen and Michael are at peace knowing he is looking down upon them with loving and caring eyes,as only a father can.

The older we get, the more life events we have; both good and bad. We welcome new lives, some whom we have created, into this world and watch them grow. We also lose many that we loved and will always love. New memories are acquired everyday and although some fade, others remain bright and shine forever. The memories we have of those we loved and lost are the memories that continue to shine bright and because of that, those loves stay with us forever until we, ourselves, hopefully, become a...

I will always remember how Uncle Dick could draw anything we wanted him to. I enjoyed his stories about the farm, and how he always loved to take everyone out for ice cream. We tried to eat a Colonial Kitchen Sink once, but whether we finished it or not is a little fuzzy. He had a kindness about him that was comforting, and he will surely be missed!

Uncle Dick and Glenn, a day out for lunch :)

Summer of 2010, lunch with Uncle Dick :)

The morning I was born, Richard woke up from a dream in which he was pregnant. Over the last 31 years I have shared similar moments with him, where despite our physical distance, we were connected.
Grandpa, I still feel connected to you and that makes me feel very lucky. I love you very much.
