Rick was a good childhood friend. He was always there to do fun stuff when we were kids. I can remember slot cars in the basement, or going to 7/11 to play asteroids when we were 13 or 14. Later he got tired of my new hobbies, so he said goodbye.

My wife and I were shocked and saddened to hear about our friend Rick. We both worked with Rick for many years at Sam's. Starting in Manchester where he was my manager. I had a lot of fun working for him. Even more fun when Rick and I were both managers in Newington. There were many days that we were both in tears from laughing and made a special game that kept us entertained to get through the day called "Hide from Kevin"! I can hear him laughing now.
