Not sure what to say?

I met Rick while attending the University of Texas in 1975. He was my first true love. His beloved dog Rusty helped bring us together. Back in those days he was a better friend than boyfriend so our relationship did not survive. But I will always remember Rick as a person who took care of everyone lucky enough to be his friend. I don't think he ever really knew how ingenious he was. Without any advanced education beyond high school he started and grew a business that still thrives today....

We still talk about you all of the time. You are still with us and we know it. We miss you and will see you again.

Everyday you are there ....

We surely miss you my dear friend I enjoyed spending time with you an doing projects on your boat that was a real joy to have a chance to work with someone that had all the amazing skills that you had an your selfless heart that you had to help any one that was in need of a friend or just a kind word it was truly an honor to be called your friend

Man What advice would you give today? It would be good ........

I spent a week in Steamboat Springs back in November. Brought back great memories of Rick and his ski patrol days, his rancher/cowboy days, and his lifetime love of being outdoors in nature... what a wonderful guy! So lucky to have known him!

Here I am again, Rick. Wishing you were still here, but also knowing that you are. I get your random sailing emails at the perfect times, and find those amazing pennies that are so worn they are silver and smooth. Not to mention the hundreds and yellow butterflies that feed my soul. We love you so much , Rick. You were more than an inspiration to us all. Until we meet again❤❤

Everyday we remember something you taught us. You are missed by us all.
