Ricky Rorie Obituary
Ricky Rorie, 59, died Friday, Jan. 28, 2022. Services were held Monday at Memorial Funeral Home with burial at Williams Cemetery.
Mr. Rorie, a retired Kimberly Clark employee of 28 years, was a 1980 Alcorn Central High School graduate and a member of Shady Grove Baptist Mission. He enjoyed the outdoors, fishing, hunting and collecting Civil War memorabilia.
He was preceded in death by his father, Charles Rorie, and his grandparents, Vernon & Ernestine Vanderford and Ruben & Nell Rorie.
Survivors are his son, Josh (Rebecca) Rorie; a daughter, Amanda (Bennett) Dulaney; his mother, Lavada Rorie; a brother, Donney Rorie; his grandchildren, Thomas Rorie and Evelyn Rorie; his fiancée, Joyce Burks; and a special friend, Bill Martin.
Bro. Charlie Cooper and Bro. Gerald Downs officiated the service.
