Not sure what to say?

My sincerest condolences to the Cullen family. To all my cousins, I was sad to hear about the passing of your mother. During the difficult year ahead, I hope you continue to feel the love and support of your family and friends.

Rita was a great mother to her large family and wonderful person. Our thoughts go out to you in this time of sorrow.

My thoughts and prayers are with you during this time. I will remember her wonderful sense of humor and ready wit. I know that you will miss her. With love, Lynn Cudney Hansen

Dear Chrisann, Jamie,Mike,Dan,Bill,Terry and Tom--Your mom and I met in the early 1950s which as you know began a life long friendship. We partyed, picnicked, played and had a whole lot of fun together for many years while you seven along with the Rogan, Coughlin and Cavanagh kids were growing up. While the years flew bye and there was less togetherness, that can't ever diminish the great memories of and the love we have for Rita, your mom! God bless her and all of you from the Cavanaghs.

Our prayers and thoughts are with your family at this difficult time. Rita was a very special lady.
Our deepest sympathy.

It's hard to imagine the future without Rita Cullen. I feel so honored to have been a friend of hers for nearly 15 years, I only wish we had 15 more. Rita was an amazing woman, as most of Palatine already knew. It was a beautiful sight to see all of her family, friends and neighbors at her wake and funeral. Rita loved parades, and that was one awesome parade in her honor. Her spirit and spunk will go on forever, you can see it in her kids and grandchildren, she had a great zest for life...

We enjoyed years of fun-filled visits with Rita at many family occasions. She was one great gal! We will miss her presence and laughter and smiles, but will hold dear the memories of her always.

I extend my sincerest condolences to the Cullen family for your loss. Living just a few houses down from the Cullen family on Patten Drive, I maintained a strong respect for Rita Cullen. When you lose some one, your life changes, and it’s never really the same again. So you make a new life, and you make it the very best you can. Rita Cullen exemplified this experience. I believe her memory and example will live on for a very long time.

Our thoughts and prays are with you all.
