Rita became a part of my family as my sons were growing up. They knew her as "Crazy Lazy" and she would enthrall them with stories of her past. Her and I became "bingo buddies" and spent many a Friday night in Canada, returning at 5am the next day! She was always willing to help, as the time she drove us to Ohio to catch a train to D.C., and got stranded with my car in Ohio. She never complained, and we laughed about it later.
