I recall Oscar and I arriving at Mrs. Sevigny's home for a fine meal. she always greeted me with a bright smile and a kind expression. Mrs. Sevigny was lovingly described as "the salt of the earth" as my Mom was also fondly described. I now understand deep meaning of those words and cherish the idea. The meals we had were always tasty and plentiful, prepared with great detail. Those patrol nights meals will be with me forever. I especially remember her pasta sauce with Hamburg it was the best...
