Not sure what to say?

I was deeply saddened to hear of Bobby passing. It is said that we are all on God´s time, and to be in His presence is to find eternal peace. I pray that Robert Allison is now at rest, embraced by God´s eternal love. To your family, I offer my heartfelt condolences and prayers for comfort and strength during this difficult time. With deepest sympathy Neil E Collins Merrick , New York

My Dad, William (Bill) Owens was a good friend of Bobby. They raced against one another on various tracks in Tennessee. My Dad always respected him, and told of many stories about the 2 of them. I cherish those stories as now both of these men are gone. Much sympathy to the family and friends of this true legend, Bobby Allison.

Prayers for the Allison family. I was a big fan of " Bobby". I still share a picture of me with Bobby. Bobby gave me his hat and autographed it, which I still have today. RIP

Remember being introduced to Bobby by Nathan Sims. I was an honor and pleasure knowing and working with both of them.

You will be missed by ALL! Thank you for your help of increasing awareness about organ donation through the many events of Save A Life Group. In honoring Davey, who saved 5 lives following his untimely accident in 1993, you made many fans aware of the power of donation. May you rest in peace my friend.

I met Bobby back in early 1967 while in High School. They had a Sports Show in Charleston WV and he was present as well as his cars were. When my Dad approached him Bobby said "My God its Mac McCracken" They were ol friends. Bobby andDad chatted and Bobby ask who is this young man Mac? Dad replied this is my youngest son Jim. Bobby shook hands with me and hugged me in has massive arms. Then he looked at Dad and said is he a racer Dad replied Not at this time. Bobby allowed pics to be taken...

My Uncle, Wayne Vining from here in Waycross, Georgia was a friend of Bobby &Donnie. The Allison racing has always been a favorite of mine. Alot of tragedy thru the years. Just wanted to say to the family, that I'm thinking about you during this time.

To the Allison´s my heart felt sympathy to the family. So sorry to hear of Mr. Allison passing. Take care and may God comfort each of you. Irma Webster Craig
