Not sure what to say?

I am reflecting back on my friendship with Bob - now my grandson and his grandson have a friendship and on occasion, I get to meet up with his son Sam as we live in the same community. I know Bob would be very proud of his family and on well they have done. I miss Bob greatly - his last few years we had morning and late afternoon conversations while he was driving to or from work. We were closer at the end than at any point in our long history. Thinking of you today and smiling ...

John, I just heard about your brother through my mom who lives in Pine Mountain Lake. I am so sorry for your loss. I think of you and your family often. Oh the fond memories!

I was very sorry to hear about Bob's untimely passing. Not all of us are able to achieve our dreams, but I'm very glad that Bob was. My memories of Bob are all very pleasant from earlier, more innocent times. I am glad I had the chance to be his friend.

I will miss you buddy! It has been a good long ride being your friend all these years.

We were once a part of a great folk singing trio - The Midnight Three - back from 1962-64! Memories flow back to those days.

I have said what I wanted to say to you this month on the phone with you - so I am thankful for those last couple of phone calls we had.

Your memorial services - one in Sutter Creek and the other in our home town of Sunnyvale were attended by...
