ROBERT AMMERMAN Obituary

Ammerman, Sr. August 15, 1923 - August 5, 2013 DEL CITY Robert Lee "Bob" Ammerman, Sr., 89, of Del City, Oklahoma, passed away August 5, 2013. He was born August 15, 1923 in Shades, Indiana. Bob served his country during WWII in the Army Air Corp. He attended East Central State College in Ada, Oklahoma where he earned his Bachelor's Degree. He then worked in civil service at Tinker Air Force Base for over 25 years. He was a faithful member of Harvest Assembly of God. He loved bowling which he enjoyed for over 60 years. He taught youth bowling and was also a Scoutmaster. He is survived by his sons, Robert Ammerman and wife Clydelle of Round Rock, Texas, Jim Ammerman and wife Chari of Oklahoma City; five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren, other extended family members and devoted friend, Joyce. Bob was preceded in death by his wife, Elizabeth. Services will be held 2:00 p.m., Friday, August 9, 2013, at Bill Eisenhour Southeast Chapel in Del City, OK, with interment at Arlington Memory Gardens, Midwest City, OK.
