Bob was a friend and neighbor for nearly forty years. His gentle and generous nature was always present and welcoming. Bob was our across the street neighbor for about 25 years. He was an amazing man and wonderful neighbor. We use to worry about him standing on a ladder painting his house when he was well into his 90s. When we chastised him about being on a ladder, he would smile and shrug. We can still picture him going on his walk around the block, often flinging a cane back and forth with each step. He walked very quickly and stood very straight.
