Not sure what to say?

Maureen and family, My heart goes out to you all. He was such a wonderful man and educator. He helped me through a rough patch in school and I'll never forget his kindness. Praying for your family.

Bob Baker was a great guy/man. I graduated from Okemos high in 1957. He was our football coach with Mr Kiley. We I think won the Ingram football championship in 1956. A wonderful teacher and coach. John Bratzler

Dear Mike, Maureen and Family, Of all the memories I have from growing up in Okemos, your father is at the top of the list. He was my teacher, coach, and friend. One of the many things your father instilled in me was that the most important thing you could give another person was your word. We had not seen each other since the late 1960's but he has always been a part of my life and the gifts he and your mother gave me have been passed along to those that I love. Shep Richard, Port St....

To Coach Baker's Family - I remember his sense of humor as a student at OHS. He chased me down the hall with a bucket of water as a graduating senior in 1958 - what a blessing to have him in my life as a student. I can only imagine your life with him as head of his family.

We will always remember Bob as a great friend, great tennis player and his love for life. We have known Bob and Bethel since 1994. They were a great couple. Bob and I taught tennis for 15 years and had a lot of fun together. Bob and I also had a great time collecting and trading sport cards. He will be missed.

Pierre & Tina Moresi of Sun Lakes, AZ

All of us here at Sun Lakes will truly miss Bob. He LOVED TO DANCE! HE LOVED TO PLAY TENNIS! HE LOVED LIFE!!!

(Louie, I will miss you! Keeley)

To Maureen, Mike and familiy,

I was but only a manager for Mr. Baker’s basketball teams. Yet he treated me with great respect (fall 1965-spring 1968). One time sitting next to him, druing a difficult moment in a big game I asked why he did not put a certain player back into this game. He could have ripped me apart for questioning him during this game. Instead he expalined what his substituition pattern was and why he was substituting players in certain situations. I learned a...

When ever I think back to the days at okemos, Mr Baker is always in those memories. Everything that was good about Okemos, was represented by him. He deserved a long and productive life and a loving family. He was truly lucky to have gotten both. Miss ya "Mr. B"

To the Baker Family:
It was a privilege to have made the acquaintance of your father in AZ.
He was a true gentleman and so dear to all of us. We loved his sense of humor, wit, and charm. Tom and I would have loved to watch him play tennis and basketball in his "early days". You were truly blessed to have him as your father...and for so many years! He loved my desserts and would ask me if I had baked my chocolate cake or brownies. He was "that man" in the framed poem I had written...
