Bob and I were best friends when we were in grade school. McKinley at Willoughby on the lake. We also sold magazines in a crew for a time. He was the best and bought a car with the money he earned. He was a character.

My condolences to the family on the loss of your loved one. May the God of all comfort be with you during your time of sorrow. (Psalm 145:19)

I just seen this memory of Bob in the News Herald today. My condolences to Bob's family and friends. I knew Bob for many years as the Photographer for the Painesville City Schools and as a friend who l got to know well through my dad who was friends with him as well as the many years we spent with him coming into Thayer's for development of film and Photography supplies when we carried them and stopping by for a soda or milkshake and say Hi after we become a Soda Fountain. Dear Barbian Family: May the God who "binds up the brokenhearted" and "comforts all who mourn," strengthen you during this difficult time. Isaiah 61:1, 2. May you hold love and treasured memories close to your heart. Offering my deepest condolences. CH

Just heard about B0b's passng. I have known Bob and his family since I was in the 3rd. grade. He took my wedding pictures when I married Richard Bilski and his sister Kaye was in my wedding and I was in hers.
I saw Bob a few years back at Ryders in Painesville when he came with his family to hear my brother Larry Whinnery sing. He was a wonderful man. Rest in peace Bob.

Such a pleasant guy ! God bless

I knew Bob from Lake Communicators and also remember him coming into the schools when I was in middle school and high school as the photographer. he will be missed.

We sadly say goodbye to Robert and look forward to being reunited with with him again in paradise. In the meantime may family and friends draw strength from God by drawing close to him. God love you.

During the 70's I worked for Bob as receptionist. He was a great boss and was always pleasant. My heartfelt condolences go out to Bob's family.
With deepest sympathy, Marg (Mackey) Nobles.
