My deepest condolences to the Barrow Family. I served with the general at Parris Island, and flew him several times while crewing the Saberliners at Cherry Point. He was a true Marine and will be deeply missed.

General Barrow was one of the finest gentlemen I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. May his soul rest in peace.

It was my pleasure to serve under your father's leadership at Marine Corps Recruit Depot, Parris Island. Please accept my condolences for his final departure to his heavenly home. I expect that he will remain on duty guarding the streets of gold and spending an eternity with his Heavenly Father.
