Alan u were truely my best friend. we shared alot of great times together,alot of sad times and alot of crazy times. I will always remember the late nights together and the long talks we shared. I kno you will always be lookin after me from heaven and you will always be takin care of your friends and family from up there just like you did while you were here with us. I did not know Alan personally but I worked for his grandmother, Diane, at USC for over 4 years. I know how much her grandchildren mean to her. She spoke of them frequently and was so proud of them. I am so sorry for the pain all of the family is going through right now.

I taught Alan at LMS then Travis at PHMS, both 8th grade social studies. I was very saddened to hear about Alan's death. I remember him being a good kid with a funny sense of humor. Your family are in my thoughts and prayers.

I am so blown away by this tragic news. Alan was my first boyfriend and remained a great friend. We were all inseparable for some time. I have a lot of great memories with him that i treasure. The day Brenten was born you were such a proud Daddy. Wearing matching shoes and hats with a baby. What a goofy boy you were, Your infectious smile and laugh made everyone love you. We just can't begin to say how sorry we were to hear about Alan. We enjoyed having him in our home over the years when he was younger and really enjoyed his recent visits as well. He was a great young man and I know you were so proud of him. We will certainly miss him ... and his goofy little grin :)
